Appeals

Where an authority or a tenant has applied to the First-tier Tribunal for a rent repayment order, the landlord or agent will have the opportunity to make a representation to either wholly or party defend the application.

If the First-tier Tribunal make a rent repayment order, appeals are brought in the Upper-tier Tribunal.

In relation to appeals, there are time limits for making an appeal which is usually 28 days commencing from the making of the order that is to be appealed.
